Text messaging consent
Éclat Investments · Last updated September 15, 2026
Éclat Investments sends text messages to its own employees, staff, and authorized contractors only. Consent is a double opt-in over SMS: a number is added, that phone is asked to confirm, and nothing else is sent until it replies YES. This page reproduces every message in that exchange word for word, so the opt-in can be verified without an account on our system.
Who receives messages
Only people who hold an account on our internal business portal at eclatportal.com — our employees, staff, and authorized contractors. We do not message the general public, we do not message customers or leads, and we never buy, rent, import, or otherwise obtain phone number lists. A number reaches our system in one way only: the person it belongs to gives it to us for this purpose.
How consent is collected
A person joins this program in one way: their own phone confirms it by text. A mobile number is put on file when someone joins us, that number is immediately sent a confirmation request, and until it replies YES the number receives nothing else. Nobody — including an administrator — can grant consent on another person’s behalf, and we never buy, rent, or import phone number lists.
The full flow:
- A member of staff or a contractor gives us their mobile number when they join, for work messages and sign-in codes.
- The number is entered in the portal. The system immediately texts that number the confirmation request quoted below, and marks it as awaiting confirmation.
- Nothing further is sent to that number. If the person needs a sign-in code before they confirm, it goes to their email instead.
- The person replies YES (or START) from that phone. Only that reply records consent, stored with the date against that specific number, and the system answers with the confirmation quoted below.
- Replying STOP at any time withdraws consent and stops everything; replying START again is how someone returns.
- Changing someone’s number discards the record entirely — the new number has to confirm for itself.
Because the confirming reply is an inbound SMS, it is recorded in our messaging provider’s logs as well as in our own system: the consent is verifiable at the carrier, not just asserted by us on this page.
The exact messages in the opt-in exchange
1. What the number is sent the moment it is added — the request for consent:
Éclat Investments: your number was added to our staff text list for work messages and sign-in codes. Reply YES to confirm - we will not text you until you do. Msg freq varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: eclatportal.com/terms Privacy: eclatportal.com/privacy
2. What the person replies — from the phone being added, in their own words:
YES
3. What we send back once that reply is recorded:
Éclat Investments: thanks - you are confirmed for work text messages. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
And on HELP, from any number, at any time:
Éclat Investments staff messaging: work notifications and sign-in codes for our employees and contractors. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Help: privacy@eclatinvestments.com or eclatportal.com/sms-opt-in
Opt-in keywords: YES, START, UNSTOP. Opt-out keywords: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. Help keywords: HELP, INFO.
What we send
- Sign-in passcodes. A one-time code, sent only when that person is signing in and asks for one.
- Work notifications. Schedule reminders, task assignments, and property or maintenance updates for the person’s own job.
We send no marketing, promotional, advertising, or sales messages through this program, and we do not send messages on behalf of any other business. Sample messages:
Éclat Investments: your sign-in code is 481920. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Éclat Investments: your lobby cleaning task is scheduled for Monday, Sept 15. Details in the portal. Msg freq varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Éclat Investments: reminder to close out payroll by Wednesday. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Frequency, cost, and stopping
Message frequency varies with the person’s role and workload; sign-in codes are sent only when requested. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Opting out does not affect the person’s portal account, though they will no longer be able to receive sign-in codes by text.
Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose.
Full details of what we collect and how it is handled are in our Privacy Policy, and the messaging program’s terms are in our Terms of Service.
